Masterclass door Dr. Peter Barton Smith

Collega Barton Smith is een ervaren robot chirurg en heeft expertise opgebouwd bij diepe endometriose en complexe hysterectomien. Hij wil deze expertise graag delen tijdens een masterclass op donderdag 30 maart as op het Endometriosecentrum van het VUmc. Participatie op uitnodiging.

Korte biografie Peter Barton Smith:

Mr Barton-Smith’s specialty is complex robotic and minimally invasive and surgery for benign gynaecological conditions mainly related to pelvic pain and subfertility related to endometriosis but also including uterine fibroids and abnormal bleeding. He completed a four-year fellowship at the MATTU, Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford from 2004-2008. He was then appointed there as a Consultant in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery from 2009-2012. He moved to Singapore to be Chief of the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Section in the O&G Dept at SGH in 2013. In 2016 he returned to the UK and is currently practising at Princess Grace Hospital in London.
